The Georgetown apartments are a terrible, rotting complex with buildings falling apart at the seams. My building reeked of cigarettes and my own apartment had a noisy, broken bathroom fan that could be heard from the neighbor's place. The door was full of holes and the ceiling was leaking brown liquid, threatening to collapse. When they replaced my windows, workers left a long plank of wood covered in nails in my living room. They also broke my bedroom screen letting dirt and bugs in that weren't fixed for days until I badgered the landlord (who changed often). Maintenance requests were never done until weeks or months later; I lived with a peeling bathtub for six months. Furthermore, it was impossible to get hold of anyone responsible because no one was ever in the office. In my last week there someone used a portable washing machine that flooded two apartments including mine; it took fans and dehumidifier to dry out but by then walls were damp which made me so ill that I couldn't work due to breathing difficulty and flu-like symptoms. To add insult to injury they wanted to raise rent despite all this! It's unbelievable these places even pass as "livable" - it's heartbreaking for anyone who has no choice but live here.

Since April 2020 Ive been a tenant here and when we moved in they told us the apartment had just been remodeled However it was far from that We have experienced multiple issues the oven doesnt work correctly maintenance claims it does temperature regulation is off in our living room and master bedroom a thermostat reader showed the difference mold builds up 2023-01-09T17:00:04Z
