I'm currently residing in my boyfriend's one bedroom apartment with our 7 week old son due to the fact that power is out at my apartment and other residents' apartments. Last week, Hazelview sent a notice stating they'd be turning off power and water for 12 hours and advising us to "make other arrangements". Unfortunately, the power didn't come back on for many of us, and we were told nothing would be done about it until the next day. This is just one of many issues I've had living here for a year now. The staff working here are superb but can only do so much or provide limited information; they probably receive an overwhelming number of complaints daily. Most tenants are wonderful - it's only Hazelview that's mismanaged as they treat their occupants with little regard and communication from them is abysmal. Notices concerning building maintenance come in frequently making it hard to have a tranquil life here. If possible, move elsewhere!
