We had an awful stay here and 0 stars would be more appropriate We saw dead roaches in the kitchen living room drawers cupboards fridge sink and stove on our first day despite receiving treatments we spotted more later Ive seen roaches in the elevator twice and the laundry room too Additionally we had mice in our kitchen which was not addressed for almost 4 weeks after contacting management who then ignored us when we reached out again Red ants were all around the building I saw them in my living room bathroom and kitchen Other than these issues there have been multiple other problems with our unit that werent pest related Olman resident manager tries to solve them quickly but Omar Boland property manager is unhelpful he disregards any of our issues minimizes them and blames us instead of accepting responsibility After researching reviews about Hollyburn Properties on different sites its clear that this is a common trend large buildings like these will always have some problems but the magnitude of ours combined with dismissive attitude from management takes it to another level altogether STAY AWAY more ... hide ...

For the past 25 years I have been living at 88 Bloor St East residence and I still feel lucky to call it my home Its not like the grass is greener somewhere else trust me A few great advantages of this place are that there is management on site who are always helpful professional and work together as a team The lobby is cleaned daily and the mail room is close to the elevator The laundry room also stays empty its locked at night with security monitoring it Everyone in the residence behaves respectfully which shows that management does a good job in screening new residents Additionally you can access a mall or subway directly without going far since theres a No Frills across the street Apartments here are made of concrete so noise from neighbours or outside is reduced Windows get washed regularly air conditioners get cleaned and maintained too plus garbage rooms on each floor stay tidy due to daily upkeep clearly I have it good And my apartment has fantastic closet space where you can fit even a mattress This isn't something found in newly built rental apartments anymore With W Hotel opening soon in same building this will be an outstanding location to live in Toronto is my city and 88 Bloor Street East will always be my home For 25 years now Ive been blessed with living at 88 Bloor St East residence honestly speaking life couldnt be better elsewhere believe me Some benefits include having management right on site more ... hide ...

Living in Hoem is alright however it does not seem to be managed well and feels like it is just a moneymaking venture The apartments are nice with scenic views and are fully furnished so thats nice I lived here for 1 year and 4 months but during this time there were many problems which occurred At the time of signing my 1year lease contract I was unexpectedly moved to a different floor for the last 4 months without an explanation as to why Also while I was moved into a 4 bedroom apartment I was still charged rent for the 3 bedroom apartment I left behind which went against the contract we had signed initially This problem only got resolved after many emails were exchanged between me and management it should have been handled by management instead of leaving it to unqualified students at the front desk who did not take me or my roommate seriously until my mother intervened Moreover without any prior warning from Hoem staff we had a new roommate move into our place in the middle of the night They also failed to provide us with wifi password or roommate agreement paper when we shifted apartments The laundry room was terrible too all washing machines smelt mouldy with dirtmould buildup around rubber parts also clothes werent properly dried in most dryers multiple times leading us to spend more money on rerunning them sometimes machines even stopped midcycle without working At one event organised by Hoem staff no one talked or said hello until I more ... hide ...
