I moved into my place six months ago, and had a new bed two years ago. My rent increased from $1,000 to $1,625. The company does not care about the tenants- they are content with people living with their bed bugs. This is their "gift" for the high rent prices. I advise you not to move in; even though it looks upgraded, landlords only care about money. I got sprayed twice and requested a third time but they put me on the phone with the pest guy who said I have to sleep in the room with them in order to get rid of them all- that's ridiculous! My name is Allen and I live at 1825 Russell Road; after asking for a third spray my landlord told me that my rental agreement ends at month's end so she is evicting me (her name is Jennifer from Prime Corp). If anyone else lives there and wants more information call me at 613-316-7802
I resided at Coach Tower for 8 months while I completed an internship in Ottawa. The leasing agent and Primecorp agent were both friendly during the agreement process and we came to a consensus that they would rent to me, so long as I found a sublet or lease takeover when my stay concluded. In May of 2018 I moved into a one-bedroom that was recently renovated; however, there were still some needed revisions which were listed on the "move in" notes (e.g., balcony sliding screen was torn, bedroom window didn't have one).
During the first month or two all went well besides these slight inconveniences; yet after this point issues started to occur one after another. For example, there was a leak coming from above my unit and outside in the hallway which did not get fixed immediately even after I called the building manager. Furthermore, bed bugs had supposedly gotten into the building (which turned out to be false), but there was still another spraying conducted with only certain spots getting treated - leaving me confused as to why this occurred if they had been dealing with it for so long. Two months later we finally got an on-site super who addressed my door issues, yet said window repairs couldn't be done until spring due to it bI resided at Coach Tower for 8 months while I completed an internship in Ottawa.
