The units we were shown were outstanding and though my wife and daughter thought there would be a lack of space, it was actually quite spacious. The entire facility was tidy and each floor has a laundry room. Moreover, they even have an indoor pool! The Building Manager is exceptional; we really liked her. All in all, I'd highly recommend this place for many reasons despite the fact that it wouldn't benefit us as we already live two minutes away.

The neighborhood is alright, and you have access to Carlingwood Mall Center and bus stations. However, the management is a disaster! We were given an apartment with a broken counter, cupboards that had problems, and one cracked tray in the fridge – after a year they only replaced the tray. Due to the outbreak we decided to postpone fixing the counter. The new property manager Alyssa Gordon has been terrible; I had to go in person after two weeks just for a new fuse! The only thing they care about is rental payments. The previous manager at least had some courtesy towards tenants. Don't put this building on your list!

I've been living at the Saville Apartments for five years and it's been an awful experience. There is extensive water damage to at least one of the buildings plus mold in multiple units. Many residents have had health issues due to the poor air quality and it takes forever to get work done. I recently attempted to get someone in to repair a water-damaged wall, but after a week I'm still left with a large hole and no report on any testing that was done for hazardous materials. On two occasions, doorknobs have fallen off, once trapping me in the garbage room and another time locking me inside my own unit! Property management changes constantly so nothing ever gets addressed or if something does happen, it's rarely completed or done properly. Additionally, we were told this was a non-smoking building by one property manager during a tour; however, this is actually not true since we are regularly exposed to second-hand smoke through our windows and balconies - all while management says smokers have "the right" to enjoy their balcony as they please... The cost of rent has become out of control here in Ottawa so leaving isn't an option; however AVOID THE SAVILLE APARTMENTS AT ALL COSTS!
