I am very dissatisfied with Maria, the maintenance worker in our building. She smiles and is friendly to some tenants, yet she is not helpful to all. For example, when I messaged her about an issue with our bathtub sink, she never responded. Furthermore, I texted her before 7 pm to help us move out but again there was no response. When my partner called around 8ish instead of helping us book a lift for our stuffs she merely informed us that moving after 8 wasn't allowed; clearly failing to inform us earlier when she received my text. Consequently it took 3 hours for us to move out instead of the possible hour if we had been assisted properly. Moreover, when my partner tried calling her back regarding my unresponded message -she had turned off her phone! We expected better service from your staff considering the price we paid and hope you find someone who treats everyone fairly and kindly in future.

I live here and the assertion that this is an executive suite is a joke—it's an outright lie! The dining room floor was scuffed with the finish worn off. Killams' answer to this was just to refinish the area instead of fixing it all. It looks as terrible as you'd expect from shoddy workmanship; there's a big shiny spot in the center, but everywhere else is faded and worn. I was told I had free access to the pool, but apparently only when it isn't making them money. After two months, my microwave still hasn't been replaced—though it does still work—so they clearly don't care about appearances in their "executive suites." The building manager is great, but his hands are tied by misguided management. All things considered though, I do like living here; the community is great and so is the building manager—it's just Killam's constant disregard for their customers that makes me so frustrated!
