I'm not sure where to start, so let me begin by talking about the positives of this apartment complex. The carpet, flooring, and paint are all fairly new, and I've been living here for two years. Though the maintenance staff is alright... that's where the positives end.
The negatives are quite extensive; there is trash everywhere, large items left outside of dumpsters for months on end (which is illegal), excessive noise from slamming doors and neighbors upstairs, no fire extinguishers in apartments for emergencies, a broken back porch which has not been replaced despite being promised last year by city ordinance (posing potential injury risks), handicapped spaces taken up by cars with flat tires that have sat there for months... even on Memorial Day when the pool should have been open it was closed due to lack of responsibility. Amenities are also lacking - just a flooded tennis court area and basketball court covered in trash - yet rent has gone up with an additional amount for "trash pick up".
