Robert Wood from Ontario, Canada had an extremely pleasant stay at this beautiful house in May 2016. The communication with the host was great and the property itself was even better than expected! It was bright with large windows and plenty of outdoor seating areas, plus it was quiet and tastefully decorated. For a price much lower than a hotel room, they enjoyed their own dock on a peaceful inlet nearby Carters beach, Mill Village, Chester town, Mahone Bay and Lunenberg. The bedrooms, 1 1/2 bathrooms and kitchen were all sparkling clean with everything they needed close by. There is also an excellent grocery store nearby as well as a wine store and walking trail. Although they initially planned to go out for dinner one night during their four day stay there, they couldn't resist relaxing on the dock while admiring the view of the bay with some fine wine instead - it seemed too tempting! The house is close to many attractions but still nicely secluded from its neighboring houses. Robert Wood reported that he had no issue getting cell signal or watching TV (which he skipped anyway) due to how tranquil the atmosphere was - so much so that he plans on returning for another visit when he comes back to South shore or Halifax!
