When I first saw this property in 2009, I was smitten. Back then, the rent was high compared to the market. Cut to March 2020 and the pandemic; I rented my place almost entirely online and moved in. Everyone at Lexi has been great since then, and I usually stay somewhere for 3-5 years before moving. Now, as my second lease is up for renewal, I'm scared of any potential rent increase; Las Vegas's rent is already exorbitantly high due to greed rather than a housing shortage - if it goes up by $500 a month, I'm back to being homeless!
Aside from that issue there are also some cosmetic issues that need addressing: the garden tub hardware is loose; whatever material the bathroom counters are made of is peeling; appliances and cabinets are out of date and not energy efficient; plus all other buildings with a similar orientation have tinted windows but mine don't - though I spent $400 on insulated curtains last summer which didn't provide much relief from the sweltering heat (and my monthly power bill gets up to $300). Furthermore, cockroaches/roaches have taken over as well as dumpsters needing spraying along with rock landscaping. My garage/front door area is near dumpster too so there's no way for me to insect proof it!

Additionally, although allegedly serviced weeks ago, my HVAC unit doesn't seem like it has been properly done - little/no airmore ...hide ...
