My folks have been in their abode here for around twelve months now and I believe the ratings are reflective of past management. The current building manager, Lisa, is exceptional! She's very welcoming and diligent, addressing tenants' issues expediently. The new maintenance man is also cordial and completes duties quickly compared to prior maintenance personnel. As with most residences of this sort, you may come across a "problem creator" but they're effectively screening recently to make sure only dependable people are leasing. A big shout out to the new management; keep up the good work!

I would not recommend renting from Woodsmere after my experience with them. The manager had previously been reasonable and honest, however, communication was suddenly cut off and the move out report was tampered with. If you are already in a lease, be very cautious and document everything to ensure that you can prove your innocence if they try to take you to collections or RTDRS. Despite doing all the right things according to the Residential Tenancies Act, their dishonesty and illegal practices may still leave you in an unfair situation.
