When we initially moved into our apartment, the smell of cigarette smoke was overpowering. The complex delayed taking action until we kept complaining about the odor and eventually had to repaint a bedroom. After living for a year and a half, the number of roaches and mold around our first floor bedroom and kitchen windows is horrific. We have filled out numerous work orders for pest control; however, the best results came when we bought our own insect killer and sprayed the whole apartment every two months. Additionally, we are required to pay $30 for valet trash which has been unreliable in picking up garbage as often times maintenance workers pop in unannounced or at wrong apartments. To make matters worse, while on vacation there was an incident where water heater on 2/3 floor broke flooding our ceiling that collapsed during midnight- yet nobody contacted us about it! When they did come to fix it mold grew so head of maintenance had to take action again. In conclusion this place is terrible with rent constantly increasing - what a real winner!
