I've been in this building for two and a half years now, but since Capreit took over management, I haven't liked it. When I was working night shifts, the roofers were making so much noise at 3am that it kept me up for weeks. Along with this, they painted my door when I wasn't home and the water was off for more than 24 hours without any warning. When I switched to day shifts, alarms kept going off all night and disrupted everyone's sleep since they had to go to school/work the next morning. The management doesn't seem to care about our well-being; I asked multiple times for an extra parking spot but never got a response. There have also been random people parking in my spot when I come home from work - why is this allowed? The washers and dryers are constantly broken or don't have enough heat too. Lastly, there are ants everywhere from sinks to garbage cans/cupboards/plugs. It feels like living outside! Prices now are ridiculous compared to before and we're moving soon because of how terrible this experience has been - we found a nicer place with upgraded appliances at an affordable rate without any pets!
