Staying at the SLum:Lords, a nightmare of a MGT company, was easily one of the worst experiences. Not only were the elevators constantly breaking down in a tower with 26 floors, but when it came to upgrades or repairs, you had to take them to court for any assistance. Although I lived there for 6 years due to having a large dog and enjoying the beautiful view from my suite, I've had 20 court cases within that time span alone and twice at Supreme Court due to their intimidating threats. I can imagine how difficult it must be for those with English as their second language since they increase rent yearly and don't follow through on security protocols despite advertising it on rental ads. The International Plaza has wonderful tenants but its old building is far too pricey considering red ants in summertime and cabinets with fresh paint that don't look worth it. Dealing with MGT was absolutely terrible; all they care about is money which is why my hot water wasn't running properly for 1 ½ years!

As a longtime renter here, I must give a special shout-out to the maintenance and building operations staff for their quick service and efficient rental portal and email updates. Although the building boasts a fantastic view, concrete construction, balcony, garden with tennis courts, and gated underground parking, there is one downside - with over 400 suites there are some disrespectful tenants leaving trash behind. However, most are very friendly and helpful.
