The cost of heating and cooling is exorbitant, with staff stealing jewelery from apartments, neighbors leaving rubbish in the hallways and fire alarms blaring at all hours of the day - not to mention the continuous beeping from trucks backing up at a supermarket nearby. One could not pay me enough for me to live here; the owner should be ashamed, or at least end my misery so I don't have to stay here. Additionally, you said that the case is closed? No it wasn't! Nobody told me if someone was held accountable and I still haven't gotten my jewelery back so I can't understand how you think this issue has been sorted out.

Do not even think of renting here! Maintenance repairs are never taken care of. I was promised a renovated unit but nothing had been done and yet I'm stuck paying the inflated prices. The common areas are filthy and haven't been cleaned, especially during this pandemic. Malfunctioning elevators have caused me to be stuck twice in them! The fitness room has been inaccessible for 8 months now as they've removed the hot tub instead of fixing it. The parking garage and driveway lights don't work as often as they should, leaving you with no other option than grabbing a flashlight before going to your car. Although the windows look good, you can feel gusts of wind passing through them along with rain drops seeping in. Heating and cooling costs around $300/$400 a month! Furthermore, hot water runs out quickly too! There is no security camera set up anywhere on the property making it easy for crime rate to stay high; bikes being stolen and cars broken into regularly occur here too.

I resided in that apartment for three years beginning in 2011. It was neat and tidy, with one landlord being friendly and the other more malevolent. The size of the dwelling was adequate, and I especially enjoyed having a wall of windows in the kitchen/livingroom, although we paid an exorbitant $400 for electricity during winter! You could feel cold air seeping through the windows, and if it rained hard enough water pooled around them. What's worse is that there was a leak from our upstairs neighbor's toilet which led to our bathroom being cut into; they employed a terrible repairman who botched up the job. We could observe his handiwork when we peered at the toilet stack within the wall before he patched it up. Needless to say, I am presently searching for leasing options elsewhere and would never move back here again.
