I moved into South Court in April 2013 because of its great location, old-world charm, and features such as high ceilings, large windows, and walk-in closets. Although there were some serious management issues concerning maintenance and security, it was a convenient 13 minutes to the ferry with a full pack. Knowing this, I installed an extra deadbolt on my front door and decided to stay. Unfortunately over the years things got worse; rent prices went up while repairs were neglected. Reviews of South Court were poor until recently when management began making changes for the better - fixing appliances that had been broken and taking care of maintenance promptly. All in all South Court has much to offer: a beautiful building with well-designed apartments; lots of natural light; quietness; attractive grounds; friendly tenants; pets allowed; and now improved management with fair prices for the area. Plus it's safe despite looking scruffy at times - an overall great place to live!
