Park 2300 is an ideal apartment complex for first time renters, as it offers many great amenities. It's in a safe area of Charlotte and close to shopping, dining, and highway 74. I live in a 1 bedroom with an outdoor patio space that I really like. I did have to do some deep cleaning when I moved in though; the fridge light was out and the kitchen cabinets and drawers were dirty with crumbs. The quality of the kitchen and bathroom cabinets is also not great - they're peeling and some don't even close properly. The bathroom mirror is damaged too, as well as the sink faucet which has limestone buildup and tarnish. As for the two community pools that were meant to be one of its main draws, neither has been open since my move-in due to contracting issues - which is a shame considering summer's nearly over! Nevertheless, there are still some excellent perks such as parking always available near my building; washer/dryer can be added for an extra $40/month; pet friendly; gym; gated community; etc. The staff has been very kind too, plus maintenance responds quickly to reports - making Park 2300 a great option overall!
