Abby's departure is a great loss for the Bluestone. I was given an "out" by Corporate to potentially not face penalty if we choose to terminate our lease early. To clarify, I want to make sure that I am not judged for expressing my worries (I'm taking care of my 76-year-old mother and cannot afford to move due to Continental Realty raising the rent by almost $200). Corporate claimed they were "embarrassed by the conditions" and would make positive changes; however, it has only gotten worse. While there are good people here, management is now absent since Abby left; we have been told that appointments are needed but there is nobody in the office answering phone calls (thank you Brandy for giving us hope this week). Security cameras are missing and strangers try entering apartments; complaints have been made with no response from the Sheriff's office, parking is full with commercial vehicles taking up space, the pool has been taken over by non-residents who party and destroy property without soap or toilet paper available; animal droppings in sidewalks/common areas remain unaddressed. The trash compactor remains out of service with a dumpster outside as a replacement.
