It is only fair that I give this review, as I have experienced both better and worse living situations. This building can be improved from bad to three or four star if they install strong, intact building doors and have security in charge. On the lower levels there are no issues with the elevator, however it can become pretty busy in the evenings. The water leak that happened over the past couple of months and yesterday is concerning - hopefully this will encourage the landlord to invest more money into having clean tenants like myself who do not have any cockroach issues because I keep my space tidy and do not leave food or dirt out. They deserve a star for being pet friendly and another for their close proximity to public transport, as well as all of the stores in a plaza nearby! For tenants to get a decent experience they must stay clean and not be lazy; landlords need to improve security measures by fixing building doors, preventing water leaks and upgrading units with paint jobs - all whilst remembering rent payments are important but so is safety: strangers knocking on doors at 2am should not be acceptable for single people or couples looking for peace and quiet.

This place deserves not even one star. Before moving in, ensure that the management has completed all renovations that were promised; otherwise, they will likely take no action afterwards. The apartment is poorly maintained, there are many cockroaches and the elevator routinely malfunctions. Furthermore, you can expect to hear fire alarms at night while sleeping and to have any deliveries stolen. Moreover, I paid for a renovated unit but received an old one instead; although they said they would come back to fix a leaky bathtub faucet after I complained, this was never done. Therefore, prior to signing your lease make sure all promises are kept.
