I would rate this place zero out of five. It's a terrible place to live. To start, there is the lack of repairs in the apartments; old stoves and fridges that should be replaced with new ones, but tenants get new appliances instead. The management sends out notices that are absurd, for example: "replace the front doors, throw out your old keys," when they haven't even changed them yet. Since they are known for giving wrong dates on their notices I wouldn't toss my keys until I'm sure they're done. The owner regularly hikes rent above guidelines and there is no super in the building – it's like being in a slum. Don't bother renting here – zero out of five!

Where to start? I'll just list my unpleasant experiences one-by-one.1. When you move into a new apartment, get ready to clean off mud, sand, and dust from every room. The walls can have chips and paint chips that they won't bother fixing - just plaster and done. In two units I've had gouges in the kitchen archways that weren't even addressed.2. Moving out is also a hassle - you must leave the place completely spotless or get charged! Only at Pine Allard Properties!3. If you're a light sleeper, don't expect too much peace as contractors will be yelling in the halls and jackhammering for hours on end before 8am daily!4. Even with severe weather forecasts it's unlikely your area will be plowed until three days later - so don't forget to move your vehicle by 8am on Saturday when they don't start until ten o'clock!5. Maintenance crew doesn't know how to install windows properly either: when wind blows strong, it may as well be open due to drafts coming through curtains.6. In springtime they keep their lobbies and hallways heated up to 30 degrees Celsius while other floors complain of being cold 7 .
