However, the lake isn't anything spectacular; there is only 20 or 30 feet of sandy beach before reaching mucky ground. Fishing can be difficult without a boat, though rentals are available at a premium price point. In terms of amenities provided by the cottages themselves, guests should prepare to bring their own bedding (pillowcases and sheets) and towels; none are supplied on-site nor is there soap or other toiletries available. Furthermore, fires are only allowed between 6pm - 11pm, which can be quite restrictive when wanting to enjoy them in the afternoon or late at night. The interior looks dated from decades past; there is no TV set that works either! Additionally, heating systems or air conditioning units do not exist in any of these cottages and water pressure can be rather low too.
