I recently moved in and I'm very disappointed by how people are disregarded. Rules say no dogs, yet there are quite a few living here. My neighbor even has a dog living in the same sized apartment as mine, and this pup barks nonstop when I'm rummaging through my cupboards. I was forced to get rid of my pet or pay an extra $100 for the landlord to take care of it. When I first arrived at my place, the floor was filthy with dirt that hadn't been washed away - making me suggest not renting here unless you're willing to deal with noisy neighbors and unreasonable requests from landlords despite what rules say.
