Living in Fairwood Apartments in Guilderland as a single woman with a large dog was an excellent experience. I could easily access my favorite gym, grocery stores, several dog parks, and eateries because the location of the apartment was quiet and nearby. Additionally, there were plenty of parking spots, open grounds to take my pup on walks, friendly personnel and considerate neighbors. Maintenance-related issues were tended to either immediately or on the day they were requested. Other amenities included laundry facilities inside the building and a small pool (which I never used but it looked inviting). Also noteworthy is that Fairwood hosts events for its community during both Fall and Summer seasons at their main rec field near the indoor tennis court bubble. Lastly, when I initially moved into this place in December 2017 (typically a difficult time to move around Upstate NY), they allowed me to extend my lease for a few months until Spring arrived - displaying their care for their tenants as well as willingness to help out where possible. Therefore, if you or your acquaintances are looking for an apartment then make sure you check out Fairwood; Heather is amazing!
