2023-02-06T13:00:05ZWe were really excited to move into this apartment, based on its reviews and the area. However, we were not pleased with the type of apartment we got and the service. The building representative showed us a newly renovated unit which had a bigger kitchen platform, extra closets and plain walls - but what we got was uninhabitable. The fridge was set up in the wrong direction; walls were sharp concrete that could hurt you if you touched it; yellow window frames; balcony door so hard to open or close. They promised they'd fix everything two months ago, yet all they do is make empty promises of 'next week'. Water cuts off notices are given every week but even when you've prepared in advance there's no water supply at times. This is an amazing place to live yet lack of management can't be overlooked - they don't take responsibility for their wrongdoings. I'd recommend not trusting them and double checking everything before signing a lease agreement here!

2023-02-06T12:30:03ZSANDY, the Manager of the building, is extremely avaricious when it comes to money. He ignores any attempt at explanation and does not listen. At the beginning of the pandemic, I lost my job and had to move out of Toronto; I never used my parking space rental for 80 dollars outside the building thereafter. On May 3rd 2020, I informed my landlord that I was leaving by May's end and he called SANDY to cancel the parking rental accordingly. Nevertheless, SANDY demanded that my landlord must pay until June despite being told late; he even threatened that if we didn't come down to sign his form today then we would have to pay till July too! We are all affected by this pandemic, struggling financially each day just to meet our needs while others offer discounts and respect our situation - why can't you? Does your heart not feel sympathy during a time like this? It's not like I'm leaving in pleasure; there's no money for me to keep paying for a parking spot anymore due to having lost my job! To be honest, this apartment is highly unrecommended as their management lacks empathy and shows little support in difficult times - they are simply inhuman.
