I would not recommend renting from this contractor owned building. Our experience was horrible from the moment we signed our lease. The unit, parking lots, property managers, leasing agent and Onni were all problems. Construction on the property is unsafe and there is no maintenance in winter months which has resulted in several people getting injured due to inadequate snow removal/icing (none was done). Amenities that were promised are not available and construction noise inside the unit is unbearable each day. It's impossible to contact the property managers when issues arise, as many residents have had to go through RTB arbitration to win their cases against these crooks. There have also been reports of bed bug infestations but they deny it being possible in a "new" building so who knows if they are taking care of it? I strongly advise against renting here!

This organization is not recommended for renting or leasing. Their customer service is inexistent and they do not show any empathy when it comes to tenants' issues. The walls of the units are extremely thin, and the electrical baseboard heaters and thermostats are of a very low quality (at $50 and $15 respectively). Additionally, they advertise amenities that will never be available, while trying to make them seem close to being provided. The parking lot at the back of the construction sight is not only undersized but also unsafe. In conclusion, even though there's a housing crisis, it's better to avoid this place for your own sanity and safety.

Be wary when signing a pre-lease, as the completion date is unreliable - even if the leasing manager/building manager gives you their word. Many of the current inhabitants of Building One were not informed until the last minute when it changed, leaving them homeless and scrambling to find a place to stay. This further complicates an already strenuous process; if you've already made your moving plans and are then told days before your move-in date that you have to wait a couple more weeks, it can be quite overwhelming. Hopefully by the time you're ready to finalize your lease, many of the amenities promised (e.g. parking/underground parking, dog runs, Save-On-Foods downstairs) will be available; unfortunately though they weren't upon move-in for many people.
