I consider myself to have a lot of patience, but this apartment complex has challenged that. Roaches have been sprayed for FOUR TIMES already and still the infestation persists due to some residents not allowing their apartments to be treated, as well as the lack of repairs done in the building. The hardwood flooring was put in haphazardly with strips of carpet left exposed at the edges; cupboards falling apart that were only noticed after signing the lease; and base boards with cracks and crevices ideal for bugs. Do not rent here! It is not worth what they are asking; I know because I am a college student who has lived in less than desirable places before, so take it from me--get out of here ASAP!

My advice is to avoid this place at all costs; if I could give a 0 rating, I would. Homestead has new management and the staff are extremely rude and unhelpful. Once you pay your deposit, they cease to care about anything else. They turn off the water with no prior warning for hours at a time. Parking fees are outrageous yet there is no enforcement of rules and regulations. During the school year, large groups of high school students come in, littering everywhere and being loud; sadly, Homestead refuses to do anything about it. There is no AC in the building but if you want to use a window AC unit then prepare to pay more money for it; furthermore, when you forget your key they won't open the door even though they know who you are after living here for an entire year! All this comes at a cost of $1,200 per month without any consideration of construction noise that never ends or garbage that never gets collected. To save both money and sanity - rent somewhere else!
