Living in this Neighborhood is enjoyable mainly due to the other residents. However, Capriet park management has become a complete joke. Lot land lease fees are quite high, yet the winter road maintenance is terrible and walking can be hazardous due to lack of care. In summer, public grass areas are not kept; grass grows too long and when it's cut, it's done so quickly that it looks sloppy with clippings left behind to mold. This creates an ideal environment for fleas and ticks. Additionally, the park administration shows favoritism towards certain tenants while mistreating others.
On December 19th 2021, updates included photos of worsening conditions; roads had become icy fields which required sand salt mix for safety and a neighbour fell while attempting to walk their dog on the ice. On January 17th 2022, even worse news came as the main entrance was blocked by large snow drifts created by hwy2 plows that were not cleared until after 9am - making it difficult for first responders if any medical or other emergency had arisen during this time frame.
