If you consider "luxury apartment rentals" to mean getting up in the early morning drenched in sweat because your landlord is too stingy to turn on the air conditioner into June, then this could be an ideal spot for you. It's great that you have an abundance of options, such as death from heat stroke or opening a window and not being able to sleep due to outside noise. Furthermore, there are frequent maintenance issues in the building plus fire alarms going off during the night (two years straight when temperatures were -40 degrees). To top it off, your landlord won't think twice about hiking up your rent more than what is permitted by the LTB. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

UPDATE 2020: There has been a noticeable reduction in maintenance requests and the nightclub across the street is closed temporarily. The staff is always pleasant and willing to help. Due to Covid19, amenities such as the gym are currently unavailable. The rooftop patio is open from 4pm-9pm but there is a sign up sheet to use the BBQ, with only 10 people allowed at one time; however, it isn't often busy.Review from 2019: The pros of this building include cleanliness, friendly personnel and security; it's also located close to downtown attractions. Cons include broken elevators that need fixing constantly, maintenance issues with parking/water/air conditioning (which doesn't activate until June), window cleaning duties and monthly alarms - we've had more 'sorry for your inconvenience' notices than anywhere else we've lived in! If you're looking for peace and quiet this isn't the place for you as it's on party street! During certain nights music from the nightclub across can be heard so if you like sleeping this might be an issue too.
