My experience with the residential support and services at Highland Square Kitchener has been nothing short of exceptional. The office staff are always welcoming and eager to help. Whenever I have requested maintenance, the response was expedient; furniture was replaced or taken away and curtains were changed with promptness, making sure my living environment was optimal. I would give this building and management company one million stars if I could!

The units are roomy and updated, so there aren't any issues with bugs, and the furnace/air conditioner works great with humidity control. The counter space is great, water pressure/heat is good, and balcony privacy is solid in each unit. Amenities are nice, with a free gym and rec room that has a billiard table. Stores are close by which makes it very convenient. The management team is friendly and helpful when they can be. This place has been enjoyable to live in but here are some things to consider (this being my first apartment): garbage/mulch sometimes blows into the parking lot; parking costs a lot; deliveries can be mixed up due to having both building A & B; 48-hour notice or end of week notices for check-ins; pet owners not always being courteous; no space for barbecuing; pricey rent (but that's expected); crossing the roundabout on foot as cars go fast on this road (70+ km) without stopping may be intimidating - taking one's car would be safer if going across the road for groceries; management often doesn't respond to email or isn't in the office but they do answer phone calls quickly and helpfully - just be prepared to make phone calls if there's an issue.
