This building is not in great condition, but my apartment was alright as I kept it tidy. It's the management that make this place terrible. The staff are so rude and unproductive; if it were any other business they would have been fired long ago. Covid is still being used as an excuse to delay maintenance orders and keep the only amenity closed. Even though they renovated the laundry room a couple of years back, it is consistently filthy and on Saturdays (the busiest day) 8 washing machines are usually broken down. The elevator renovations have been ongoing for longer than expected – 3 months per elevator instead of one – with only one working at a time; there ought to be 24/7 security, yet packages get stolen regularly, people litter and smoke near the entrances without facing any repercussions.

If I could, I would give this apartment a 0 star rating as there is nothing good about it. The building is ancient and has an awful smell. The air conditioner is too loud, yet they haven't come to fix it. We asked for permission to bring our e bike into the unit and the woman at the rental office allowed us to do so. But after almost a year living here, a man who claimed he was the manager stopped us from taking it in and shouted at my husband despite us getting permission beforehand (what's wrong with their management?). We went back to the office for clarification on their regulations for e bikes but instead of showing us or explaining them, she said it wasn't her responsibility (can you believe that? It's outrageous). She was also incredibly rude by constantly interrupting us. In Canada there are people like this which shocks me! I can't wait till our term ends so we can move out! Feeling totally disgusted with those at the office!

For the price, my 8 year stay in this building was fairly satisfactory; especially since I was a new immigrant. Its location near transit and Roncesvalles street made it even more attractive. The appliances in my unit included a stove and fridge but unfortunately lacked a fan; thus necessitating window openings when cooking. Sadly, the windows were fixed with just small sections that could slide open along with safety louvers that could not be removed. I also had an old bulky AC/heater built into the window. Periodic cockroach infestations were manageable with proactive measures taken, yet we were lucky to quickly eliminate an instance of bed bug invasion. Additionally, there was no bike storage provided but nobody objected to me bringing it within the elevator into my unit either. Tenants found parking available at additional cost in the spacious garage too and management responded rapidly to any service requests from me .
